The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) issued a warning for internet browsers like Google’s Chrome, Apple’s Safari and Microsoft’s Edge against Black Friday shopping scams. As per a report by NDTV, the authority cautioned that there would be a spike in online scammers who would target shoppers during the holiday season. The report mentioned an 89% spike in fraudulent websites compared to the previous year. It said 80% of the shopping-related emails were marked as scams.
